{Silly Girls}

One Monday for FHE (when I was home during the break) we decided to have a Just Dance competition since the family got a Kinect for Christmas... For those of you who don't know, the Kinect videos you following the moves on the screen. So you don't know the dance ahead of time, you just mirror the dancer on the screen and get points for accuracy.
my family has the moves!
(as seen below)

Favorite Parts:
Matching PJs
Chloe yelling "my stomach!" from a cramp
Cami's free-styling at the end

{A New Art Form}

It's back to the grind for most of us, as the holidays are over, and I'm back in Rexburg...

However, I wanted to share some beauty with you for the weekend...
Photographer Jamie Beck and her partner/fiance/graphic artist Kevin Burg have taken GIFs to a whole new level; these works of art, coined "cinemagraphs," are so alluring and awe-inspiring -- you literally can't look away. As published on this site,
"
A Cinemagraph is an image that contains within itself a living moment that allows a glimpse of time to be experienced and preserved endlessly."
If you want to learn more, or see more, you can stalk my favorite new blog From Me To You (by Beck). I'm obsessed with her style and talent, and can't get enough of these fascinating cinemagraphs!

Also, just for fun... this is Beck promoting the annual Ralph Lauren Tweed Run in NYC, which is now on my bucket list, go figure. But isn't she just lovely??

{HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL}

You're probably all annoyed with how much I've been talking/pinning/blogging about this upcoming season... but I'm just so DANG excited!
Here's to boots and scarves, pumpkins, leaves, football, cider, holidays, road trips, family traditions and memories.
It's Friday, AND the first day of Fall... can't ask for much more than that :)
I think I'm going to go make a cup of hot chocolate to celebrate.
Happy Weekend!
XO
