{Le 4th of July!}

1. We got all dressed up in Red-White-and-Blue and went out for a fun lunch...
2. Next we hit the mall and refreshed with Sonic...
3. We put our blankets down in a great spot, right next to the river (across from the fireworks)...
4. & 5. & 6. Then we read magazines, ate more amazing food (from the food-trucks), napped, chatted, watched the sky catch on fire in an amazing sunset, and patiently waited for the show...

I had such a fun day with these girls! We jammed out to the Spice-Girls pandora station, laughed at the most random things, and not to mention, the weather was heavenly. 

I'm also glad we got to participate in the celebration of this wonderful country. I feel so blessed, and am so grateful for the men and women who protect our freedom.

{The Scenic Route}

So, my latest obsession involves, a car, another Chelsi, Diet coke, snacks, good music, and beautiful views. I figure if I can't road-trip it to Cali with the AZ natives, the least I can do is enjoy what beauty there is here in Idaho... The pics below were taken through a window (hence the low quality) and don't have any kind of filter on them! It's not AZ, or Cali for that matter, but it's so different from what I'm used to, and the colors are so gorgeous! Another bonus, is that these drives really help with the stress of school.

***BTW, I felt the sun on my skin for the first time in MONTHS this past Sunday as I was walking into church. It felt so good, and gave me hope that I'll make it through the rest of this semester from Hell. It's the little things, right?

{A Wednesday Recap}

I'm trying to get better at capturing the everyday moments that occur in my life.
So here's to yesterday, and the small beauties I found in a normally mundane hump-day :)

I get to go home for lunch every day (to save money + I love listening to music and driving to relax on my break). The girlies had a half day, so I got to hang with them for a bit...

This is Kara (I've mentioned her before)... one of my best friends that I hope will be in my life for a very long time. We sit next to each other at Infusionsoft, which makes work even more fun than it already is...

Lastly, another one of my dearest friends, Kelsey, and I got the chance to catch up over dinner last night. This girl makes me laugh harder than anyone I know! She seriously is the most genuine, kind, hilarious fashionista ever, and I was so happy we got to hang out before she heads back up to BYU this weekend.

PS... please excuse my gross hobo hair, I'm too lazy (not to mention too hot - as in, it's 118 degrees outside) to do anything more than pull it off my face these days. I'll be better, promise ;)
